SALT-NZ for Windows® 2000, XP, Vista, 7 are versions of the SALT 2010 software supplied by SALT Software LLC and customized for our New Zealand and Australian customers. These versions of SALT differ primarily in the default settings. The dd/mm/yyyy date format is used and the New Zealand reference databases are selected by default. SALT-NZ is a result of a long-term collaboration with Gail Gillon and Marleen Westerveld from the Department of Communication Disorders at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. The software is despatched on behalf of SALT Software LLC from Dr. Westerveld's research lab at Griffith University, eliminating the high cost of overseas shipping.

What is included?

The Student version includes the SALT software and User Guide. It is identical to the SALT-NZ Instructional Version with the following exceptions:

  1. The SALT software must be run from the CD; it cannot be installed on a computer.
  2. Product support is limited to questions concerning the mechanics of running the SALT program. It does not include support for questions about the format of the data, the purpose of the various program options, or the interpretation of the results.

Order a single copy of the Student version using your school email address to verify student status. If you order multiple copies, be sure to list all school email addresses in the comments section.

The low price of the Student version makes SALT an affordable text for any language development/disorders course.
