SALT Products

SALT software streamlines the language sample analysis process, managing the elicitation, transcription, analysis, and interpretation of language samples. Unique features include databases of more than 6,000 samples from typical speakers recorded in conversation, narration, and expository protocols. These databases provide norm-reference comparison sets for children 3 – 16 years of age in a variety of speaking conditions. There are also Spanish-English bilingual databases of story narratives to document proficiency in each language compared to typical bilingual children. The software requires Windows® 7/XP/Vista/2000.
